What a recruitment consultant does
At Credit Recruitment, consultants manage the recruitment process for both the job seeker and our clients from start to finish. Key elements of the role include:
- Developing business with existing and new client companies in a competitive environment to ensure we are 'top of mind' to employers
- Sourcing suitable job seekers via networking, advertising and referrals. We earn the trust of job seekers (and learn what their strengths and development areas are)
- Maintaining long term relationships with job seekers
- Providing resume, interview and career advice to candidates
- Interviewing candidates on a general basis and for specific roles
- Managing the job offer process and negotiating salary packages
- Manage and develop ongoing client relationships - both on the phone and face to face
- Each of us work to specific targets that are challenging and require a focus and a strength of character and determination
- We are extremely customer service focused and consider our customers to be both job seekers and clients looking for new people to join them
This is not a 9 to 5 job and requires hard work and a high level of focus

What does it take?
You'll need sound experience in credit management or recruitment and an ability to understand what makes people tick. You won't be a 9 to 5 kind of person but someone who really enjoys working extremely hard to exceed the expectations of all our customers - and enjoy the reward for doing so.
You will be comfortable with sales targets and make it your personal mission to exceed them
